Job Summary
The incumbent will execute ocean import operations with the objective of operational and service excellence.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the documentation for the companys Import activities
- Responsible for the permit declaration and clearance delivery required
- Responsible for Import documentation formalities with carriers & Co-loaders
- Responsible for the handling of shipments ensuring that any of the customers inquiries are answered.
- In charge of liaising with the companys vendors/suppliers for import shipments
- In charge of the preparation of billing invoices and performing invoice verification when required
- Experience in transshipments & cross-border shipments
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum GCE O level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications Outlook Excel Word
Minimum 2-3 years working experience in ocean freight forwarding operations
Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration a plus
