ROLE SUMMARY
The Director Pfizer Brand Operations is a strategic and executional leader within Pfizers Brand Strategy and Campaigns team. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic alignment across enterprise brand initiatives including PfizerForAll and other high-impact campaigns.
Serving as a central integrator within the brand team the Director will lead end-to-end strategic planning resource alignment and seamless execution across a complex network of internal and external stakeholders. This includes comprehensive oversight of agency partnerships fiscal stewardship of campaign budgets and cross-functional collaboration with the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) Corporate Affairs and Pfizers business units to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
Beyond execution this role plays a critical part in shaping and evolving Pfizers brand strategy. The Director will partner with senior leaders to translate enterprise priorities into actionable campaign frameworks ensuring that brand efforts are aligned with business goals audience insights and market dynamics. They will also lead the development of strategic playbooks performance dashboards and governance models to scale best practices across the organization.
This is a global-facing role that requires a seasoned leader with deep marketing operations expertise strong interpersonal presence and the ability to influence across levels and functions. The Director will champion technology adoption and process innovation to deliver measurable business results and elevate Pfizers brand presence worldwide.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a high-performing team of 4-5 direct reports responsible for the campaign and go to market operations for all U.S. Pfizer branded campaigns.
Drive planning execution and reporting for integrated campaigns owning roadmaps and timelines across all objectives and audiences.
Manage overall agency of record operations to ensure scopes burn rates work product and reporting are aligned with budgets and benchmarks and drive year-over-year efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally across Pfizer to identify opportunities resolve dependencies and proactively address challenges with scalable solutions.
Manage a marketing operations budget ensuring strategic allocation and optimization.
Ensure seamless integration across paid owned and earned media disciplines by partnering closely with Global Media and Performance teams.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g. Adobe AI) to inform campaign strategies and operational enhancements supporting Pfizer brand work.
Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of campaign plans.
Maximize efficiencies across all elements of go-to-market and campaign planning; scale across the organization as relevant.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS with 8 years or MBA/MS with 7 years of experience in brand marketing consumer marketing marketing operations operations or product marketing; or at an award-winning agency leading strategic planning operations or accounts.
Proven ability to translate audience insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable market impact.
Demonstrated success leading teams to launch high-impact initiatives within large multinational organizations; global experience across markets and cultures preferred.
Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; adept at influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain effective partnerships across diverse teams and functions fostering collaboration and driving shared outcomes.
Thrives in a high energy environment and works effectively in unchartered territory.
Ability to drive team to results take accountability and meet deadlines.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen; able to pivot quickly and optimize plans for maximum value.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with omnichannel marketing platforms and tools (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager Workfront).
Familiarity with performance marketing metrics and optimization strategies.
Background in managing large-scale agency relationships and vendor ecosystems.
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives and content supply chain operations.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
