As a Analyst within our Private Equity Group you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the due diligence and legal closing processes for new private equity investments.
- Collaborate with investment professionals to underwrite new investments including primaries and co-investments.
- Draft sections of investment memorandums for internal review and client distribution.
- Evaluate potential investments across various sectors using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Assist in quarterly monitoring of current portfolio investments for underlying investors.
- Manage internal processes and maintain accurate documentation for investment activities.
- Analyze financial statements and quarterly reports from private equity funds.
- Review confidential investment memorandums to synthesize key information.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail in all aspects of investment analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment supporting group objectives and initiatives.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- At least 1years of relevant industry experience in finance accounting data analytics valuation private equity or investment banking.
- Excellent financial literacy and strong writing skills.
- High attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information succinctly.
- Experience in investment memorandums and portfolio monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience in private equity or investment banking is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- CFA or MBA preferred.
