Job Summary

Title: RN CVICU

Location: Gastonia NC

Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights

Pay Rate: $2271 Weekly Gross

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment demonstrating advanced clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe compassionate and effective care to critically ill cardiac and post-cardiac surgery patients.
Monitor assess and document patients conditions ensuring timely interventions as needed.
Administer medications manage drips and operate advanced medical equipment.
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures as well as all regulatory standards.

Requirements:

CVICU experience required (recent relevant experience preferred).
Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license).

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
