Job Title: Assistant Professor/Faculty - Fashion Design/Faculty Associate

Job Summary:
Inspiria Knowledge Campus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Professor to join our Fashion Design Department. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering courses on fashion design to undergraduate students. The candidate should have a strong background in digital marketing and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Qualification:

First-class Masters Degree in Fashion Design / Fashion Management or degree in relevant discipline with Minimum 55% Marks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching of both core and elective courses in the subjects of Fashion Design and design courses.
Contribute towards the development of the department in terms of teaching and non-teaching activities.
Should be comfortable in handling modern trends of designs related to the fashion industry.
Making the teaching more effective and interesting to the students by the use of multi-media or the latest digital platforms teaching aids.
The faculty member is required to plan and make complete preparation well in advance to teach the theory effectively and practical courses.
He/she should prepare the schedule of lectures with topics tests assignments demonstrations screening of video or power point presentations advance.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:
- First-class Masters Degree in Fashion Design / Fashion Management or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Ph.D. (awarded or pursuing) or significant industry experience preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 35 years of teaching and/or professional industry experience in fashion or design-related fields.
- Prior experience in academic administration or departmental leadership will be an added advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in digital teaching platforms PowerPoint and design-related software.
- Strong understanding of the Fashion Business Environment emerging trends and design technologies.
- Ability to integrate modern design tools and multimedia teaching aids.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication presentation and leadership abilities.
- Strong classroom management and mentoring skills.
- Ability to lead academic planning curriculum innovation and team coordination.
- A creative mindset with a passion for student development and academic excellence.
