Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Safety Officer to join our clients growing team and uphold their strong safety culture on site. Our client is a leading construction company based in Calgary specializing in high-rise residential and commercial projects.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that all health and safety protocols are adhered to across their high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) certification possess advanced first aid training and have proven experience in high-rise construction environments
Key Responsibilities
Develop implement and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures
Conduct regular site inspections safety audits and hazard assessments
Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and company safety policies
Provide onboarding safety orientation and ongoing training to site staff and subcontractors
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records
Foster a strong safety culture and serve as a resource for all safety-related matters
Coordinate with site supervisors project managers and external safety consultants
Requirements
NCSO Certification (National Construction Safety Officer)
Advanced First Aid Certification
Minimum 3 years of safety experience in the construction industry with a focus on high-rise construction
Strong working knowledge of Alberta OH&S legislation and best practices
Exceptional communication organizational and leadership skills
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating project costs analyzing drawings conducting site visits and collaborating with Pre Construction Manager and Operations to develop accurate estimates for construction projects Key Responsibilities 5 years of estimating experience in civil construction preferably in shoring piling or deep foundations. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods for shoring support and foundations. Proficiency in estimating software (HCSS B2W or similar) and MS Excel. Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
