Role Definition:
This role manages manual accounting for specific CFAS CVAs using Excel Dataiku and Oracle reports requiring frequent business communication. It also supports transitioning manual processes to Oracle.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods processes and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Financial Record Keeping: Knowledge of financial record keeping processes methods and tools; ability to maintain accurate and thorough records of financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes methods and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Summary Pay Range:
$92880.00 - $160788.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
