Sales Support Engineer

The work model for the role is: Remote; New Berlin WI

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power Division.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Analyze medium voltage drives specifications from various industries and propose the most technically suitable and cost-effective solutions.

• Create accurate and timely customized quotes for medium voltage drive products and services. Understand pricing structures and sales process to support the development of a competitive proposal.

• Participate in customer meetings to make early influence on the specification and design or clarify and explain the proposals.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales Feeder Manufacturers External Suppliers Project Execution/Engineering etc.) to maximize the impact and influence during the sales phase.

• Enhance product and application expertise to position the organization as the regional knowledge hub for ABB medium voltage drives.

• Provide tailored and in depth training to both internal colleagues and external customers.

• Improve productivity by optimizing the processes and tools.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.

• 5 years experience of Medium Voltage Drives.

• Excellent verbal and written communicator skilled at simplifying complex technical topics.

• Travel up to 10% required.

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $79800 and $127680 annually.
