The Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the management and execution of Global Operations product and technology transfers and strategic programs from concept through initiation planning execution and transition to supply chain and manufacturing operations. This will include ensuring that all requirements as a part of such programs are fully executed in a compliant fashion in alignment with all external regulatory requirements. Proven experience in complex project management and technology transfer projects is a must.

This position is part of the Global Operations function located in Chaska MN and will be on-site (with approximately 25% travel).

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage one or more projects as part of the delivery of multi-disciplinary multi-site technology transfer projects/programs that deliver critical and strategic business benefits.
  • Take ownership of the full project life cycle - successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one to two major projects or several minor to medium-sized projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure that projects/programs are proceeding according to scope schedule budget and quality standards
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive progress reports proposals and presentations to effectively communicate with project teams steering sponsors and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional strategy and project planning and other required workshops or Kaizen events to ensure realization of project goals.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in an Engineering-related field with 9 years of experience with a manufacturing organization or a masters degree with 7 years or a PhD with 4 years of the same experience.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated 5 years of experience in leading medium to large-scale technology transfer projects and design change programs
  • Regulatory Compliance: Proven ability to manage medium/large design changes and technology transfer projects in the Medical Device or Diagnostics regulatory environment ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and global standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and/or facilitate cross-functional strategy and project planning and other required workshops or events to ensure realization of project goals.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Lean Six Sigma: Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving methods and best-practice manufacturing techniques including lean six sigma tools.
  • Change Management Certification desired (Prosci/ADKAR or Other)
  • PM Tools: Proficiency in Power BI/smartsheet MIRO Excel and PM software or Project Management trained/qualified (ie PMP etc.)

The annual salary range for this role is 126K-155K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
