JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise a team of installation repair and FTTP Field Service technicians to ensure compliance with all company standards specifically safety and quality.
2. Selects trains coaches and mentors team members.
3. Responsible for conducting formal coaching and reviews with employees under this positions supervision.
4. Ensure all material equipment and supplies are available for the team members.
5. Manage workload to effectively meet customer demand.
6. Available for call out situations.
7. Ensures proper communication and coordination of installation and repair activities with other Field Operation teams as well as customer service and construction teams as needed.
8. Serve as a customer interfacing escalation point.
9. Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs business needs and project scope.
10. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Associates degree or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience managing operational processes
2. Experience leading a team
3. Experience working with fiber internet communication and T.V. entertainment equipment
COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
1. Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with all levels of employees and customers
2. Ability to operate company vehicle and drivers license in good standing
3. Ability to solve problems and prioritized work-loads to maintain timely installs
4. Management and leadership ability
5. Personal drive initiative and resourcefulness
6. General understanding of communication applications.
7. Basic knowledge of computer applications such as Excel & Microsoft Word
8. Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions
9. Strong organizational skills
10. Ability to travel outside of the home office area for extended periods of time based on project and business need.
