Job Summary

Overview:

Supervises and supports day to day harvest operations including but not limited to:

Fruit Evaluation
Harvest Crew Placement
Quality Control
Ensure safe work procedures
Support field technical evaluations such as crop estimates and fruit size measurements

Heres what youll do:

Communicate with farming staff to verify blocks scheduled for harvest do not have any restrictions (i.e. Spraying Irrigation etc.).
Communicate harvest plans to Farm Labor Contractors
Ensure production goals and quality control of citrus harvest are met
Enforce company safety rules and compliance policies
Ensure that fruit estimations and projections are correct and useful
Measure fruit size data to understand growth trajectory of crop
Tracking crop information and trends on excel and iPhone field applications
Supervise harvest crews to ensure they are harvesting in the correct location pick quality meets harvesting standards and ensure no fruit is left behind by harvesters
Set up and enter maturity testing following all county and state specs
Perform crop estimates to forecast the current years supply.

Qualifications :

Heres what youll bring to the table:

Bachelors degree or equivalent
At least 3-5 years of experience in crop or field management citrus experience preferred
Strong computer proficiency e.g Excel Word PowerPoint Power Bi
Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License
Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
Self-management skills
Strong time management skills
Represents Wonderful Citrus values in communicating to third party contractors
Ability to make good rational judgment decisions while under pressure
Skilled in report writing business communication and delivering presentations to management peers and customers
Strategic thinker with tactical and detailed execution

Salary: $75000.00 annually and may include discretionary bonus.
