Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) organization within Amazon Indias centralized supply chain planning function. This strategic leadership role will drive end-to-end S&OP excellence by orchestrating the convergence of demand planning supply planning and inventory optimization processes across multiple business channels.
The ideal candidate will champion the monthly S&OP cadence lead cross-functional alignment and drive data-driven decision making while building and mentoring high-performing teams. This role requires deep expertise in integrated business planning with the ability to balance commercial goals with operational capabilities ultimately ensuring optimal inventory levels superior service performance and efficient resource utilization across the network.
As a people manager you will shape the planning organizations culture develop future leaders and drive innovation in planning processes through advanced analytics and technology adoption. This high-visibility position requires exceptional stakeholder management skills with regular interaction across Commercial Finance Operations and Technology teams to drive strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence Amazon Indias supply chain strategy while leading a critical function that directly impacts customer experience and business growth.
- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5 years of team management experience
- 5 years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
