Boot Hill Museum Museum Retail Support
Position Summary:
Boot Hill Museum is seeking an energetic dependable and friendly team member to help bring the Old West to life. This role supports the Gift Shop General Store and other guest service areas while helping keep museum operations running smoothly. Every day is different from greeting visitors to assisting with museum operations this position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working with people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly attitude.
- Support the Gift Shop and General Store: sales stocking and maintaining displays.
- Answer visitor questions handle tickets and assist with daily museum operations.
- Serve as a point of contact when staff need coverage or support.
- Open and close the museum ensuring public areas are clean safe and inviting.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Friendly reliable and team-oriented.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Starting pay: $10-$13 based on experience and availability
- Part-time 25 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Ability to bend stoop kneel and use small ladders/steps as needed
