Job Summary

Are you a passionate Clinical Incident Officer with proven experience in incident investigations ready to take the next step in your career

This role can be worked fully remotely or from one of our offices in other states so if youre not based in Melbourne we encourage you to apply. Occasional travel (approximately once a month) will be required for site visits audits or quality initiatives.

About the Role

As a Clinical Incident Officer youll lead thorough and timely investigations into clinical incidents ensuring compliance with internal policies procedures and relevant standards. Your work will directly support better outcomes for patients and teams alike.

Youll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders providing education feedback and coaching to support a culture of safety accountability and learning.

This role will require the ability and willingness to travel state-wide to conduct audits site visits and support quality initiatives as required.

What Youll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years experience in incident complaint or performance management

  • Proven background in clinical settings such as emergency ICU medical/surgical or aged care

  • Strong skills in incident investigation compliance or clinical risk management

  • Ability to conduct thorough objective and professional investigations

  • Exceptional critical thinking analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal

  • High levels of professionalism integrity and discretion

  • AHPRA Registered Health Practitioner (recent clinical practice highly desirable)

  • Qualifications in Incident Investigation Management (desirable)
