Job Summary

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies andorganisations operating in remote sites gold mines and coal fields. Weprovide vital workplace support for people working in some of the mostisolated terrains in the world from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold minesin the Australian Outback.

Unique 8 week fixed term role for an innovative and inspirational culinary leader to join the ESS team in the role of Regional Executive Chef working remotely across our villages on the East Coast of Australia.

This role is responsible for driving the ESS food philosophy through the business to a wide range of people; from our chefs and cooks to our catering attendants and managers you will have the ability to tap into their unique talents and motivate them to take the business from good to great in quality food and service addition to this your passion will drive you to develop culinary talent and capability continuously seeking out innovation to incorporate on-trend food Your passion for exceptional customer service genuine commitment to safety and strong people management skills are essential for you to succeed in this role

Please note this is a Full-Time Fixed Term role for an 8 week period from approximately 22nd December - 20th February.

Roster is Monday - Friday with flights accommodation and meals included.

It is crucial to note that you will be expected to have full availability to travel for the duration of this period.

The Position

  • Ensuring compliance with all catering requirements
  • Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our catering performance
  • Conducting regular interactions with all levels throughout our villages
  • On the ground support to all Head Chefs throughout our portfolios
  • Training and development of identified talent within the organisation
  • Ensure we deliver high quality catering and support services to our client
  • Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
  • Implementing new food processes and procedures across the business

The Person

  • Experience in Site Based Head Chef or Executive Chef positions across high-volume catering environments
  • Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and implement new innovations within the catering management space
  • Experience introducing new operating methodseffectively bringing people along the journey.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships throughout large organisations
