Job Summary
- Lead end-to-end Power BI implementation from requirements gathering and data modeling through report development deployment and user training
- Write optimize and maintain complex SQL queries using CTEs window functions stored procedures and user-defined functions
- Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines or Power BI dataflows feeding semantic models
- Tune SQL and Power BI performance for large varied data sets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear dashboards and KPIs
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting enhancements and governance for BI solutions
Qualifications :
Experience
- 8 years in BI and data-engineering roles
- Proven track record with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server) and cloud data platforms
- Hands-on exposure to Snowflake Azure Synapse or similar cloud warehouses
- Experience with version control (Git Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for BI artifacts
- Exposure to scripting (Python preferred) for data preparation and automation
Skills
- Candidate should be expert in SQL
- He should be good and quick in query writing as well using CTE functions and procs etc.
- Candidate should be proficient in Power BI
- Should have E2E knowledge of Power BI implementation
- Good to have Python knowledge
- Good to have exposure on cloud warehouses like Snowflake
