About the Role
Willware Technologies is seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our automotive electronics team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) focusing on low-voltage power electronics schematic and PCB design functional safety and hardware validation for automotive applications.
Required Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills

3 to 5 years of experience in automotive hardware design and PCB layout.

Strong experience in ECU electronics preferably in powertrain or chassis systems.

Hands-on experience with:
-
Low-voltage power electronics (DC-DC regulators power circuits)
-
Schematic design PCB layout BOM & component selection
-
Design simulations and calculations
-
Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA)
-
Good understanding of functional safety processes (FTA FMEDA ISO 26262 concepts).

Experience with ECAD tools such as Altium OrCAD or Cadence Allegro.

Knowledge of automotive development lifecycle and V-Model.

Strong debugging validation and EMI/EMC testing experience.
-
Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Self-driven engineer who can take ownership of hardware designs.
