Saint Francis Pain Management Center is seeking a 4th Advanced Practice Provider!
Practice Details:
-Join a group of 3 physicians and 3 APPs
-Outpatient only!
-Outpatient clinic schedule: M-F 8am - 4:30pm where APPs see an average of 14 patients a day (4 new patients and 10 established patients/follow-up appointments)
-Pain Center hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm; APPs assist in Pain procedures and do a mix of Iovera injections and/or trigger point injections
-Potential to be trained in injections to support procedure volumes and patient access

Education:
- Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program OR Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Certification & Licensures:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensed by the State of Missouri OR Current license as a Physician Assistant licensed by the State of Missouri
- AHA or Red Cross BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification (required in specialty areas)
Experience:
- Three years experience as a family nurse practitioner preferred. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and examination diagnostics and treatment room procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients physicians staff and the public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
- Current BLS certification and required licenses
- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment electronic systems for ordering medical records and other common computer programs
