At the heart of this mission is Adaptiv Credit Risk (ACR) - INGs enterprise-wide platform for measuring and managing credit risk. ACR supports limit management across various risk types and calculates credit exposure for PreSettlement Settlement Money Market Lending Investment and Trading Risk.
Limit monitoring and exposure risk measurement to ensure adherence to INGs global credit risk appetite.
Credit risk data distribution consolidating and interfacing with other systems to provide a single source of truth.

FM> - Competitive Pricing is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Engineer to help ensure the stability security and performance of one of INGs most critical Financial Markets this role you will be part of the team responsible for the operational excellence of the Adaptiv Credit Risk (ACR) platform which supports INGs global Credit Risk monitoring and management.
You will work closely with our vendor (ACR is outsourced) engineers business analysts product managers architects and internal teams to maintain a highly available and resilient system. Your responsibilities vary from incident problem and change management to performance optimisation automation and monitoring (in line with INGs standards) as well as the continuous improvement of operational processes. You will also contribute towards the business by minimising outages and ensuring a great customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Whether you start your morning from home or enjoy your morning coffee in our office (were in the office every Monday and Thursday) your day-to-day tasks will be quite similar. Heres what your daily responsibilities look like:
- You work in an Agile environment collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Customer Journey Expert(s) to identify bottlenecks in the Operations area and estimate plan implement test and deliver mitigation actions as part of (short) delivery cycles.
- You contribute and are responsible for handling incident management (once a month you will be part of a on-call standby routine) change management and root cause analysis in case of unavailability and data quality issues.
- Find opportunities to automate the testing of existing features performance and security as well as the automation of deployments monitoring and more. This is a key responsibility of the Operations Engineers.
- IT Risk & security controls need to be put in place and accurately documented. For this you will need to get familiar with and keep up to date with the ING Information Security Management Policy.
- You have a keen eye for improvements and will proactively bring them forward. Pick it up and make it happen.
- Experience: 5 years of engineeringexperience.
- IT Operations/Support experience including Functional support to end users (such as Trades Risk Managers Collateral Managers) combined with analytical skills to identify root causes in workflow incidents (data technical functional).
- Monitoring & Observability proficient in tools like Prometheus Grafana Splunk or similar. Able to interpret metrics logs and traces to detect anomalies.
- ITIL Process Knowledge: solid understanding and hands-on experience.
- Experience and affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts.
- Is familiar with the Agile Way of Working. Understands CI/CD pipelines automation and iterative delivery.
- Stakeholder management able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scripting languages in the likes of shell Python or similar.
- Education: A University degreein Computer Science Software Engineering Financial Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of working background or just an interest in Financial Markets is very welcome.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud providers is a strong plus.
- Experience with Kafka and Enterprise Application configuration in Entra ID.
- Experience with XFB (AXway File Broker).
- Experience with MQ.
