Salary: Up to 27.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
The Highfield Hospital has recently been awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC.
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Undertake expert assessment and treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction urinary/fecal incontinence pelvic pain pre/postnatal conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualised evidence-based treatment plans including internal assessment biofeedback manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
- Act as the clinical lead for pelvic health physiotherapy ensuring service quality consistency and alignment with best practice.
- Work closely with urogynaecologists colorectal surgeons obstetricians continence nurses and other allied health professionals.
- Deliver specialist training supervision and mentorship to physiotherapists students and wider healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate timely and confidential patient records in accordance with HCPC CSP and organisational policies.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Extensive post-registration experience in womens mens and pelvic health physiotherapy.
- Recognised postgraduate training in pelvic health or continence physiotherapy.
- Advanced clinical reasoning assessment and treatment skills.
- Experience in service development teaching or supervision.
