The Job:

• As a Receiving Clerk youll be part of our Miramar team working as an On-site employee. Youll get to:

• Process daily export shipping documentation (7512)

• Data entry: Update daily department reports (Container Pick-Up Dates)

• Schedule container appointments according to capacity/priorities

• Accomplish daily objectives with efficient use of manpower/equipment

• Demonstrate strong commitment to housekeeping/safety/quality

• Understand workload priorities and department collaboration

• Assure the receiving process aligns with inbound inventory accuracy

• Report discrepancies/damages found within the receiving process

• Complete/Register all receipt transactions within the WMS software

• Manage footprint data for new and existing items

• Embrace a teamwork environment with excellent communication skills

• Train/Coach new hires to achieve productivity/quality levels

• Improve productivity while minimizing errors within the standard process

• Forecast daily production according to resources and priorities assigned

• Monitor/Maintain safe practices/techniques/PPE/machine guarding

• Report all unsafe work conditions/situations (Near Misses)

• Daily walkarounds to assure daily tasks are being completed

• Able to work flexible shifts during business closing weeks

• Help any of the operational areas of the warehouse as needed

• Be ready to work on any of the operational areas of the warehouse as needed

• Perform any other task requested by his/her supervisor

The Person:

• Work in a collaborative teamwork environment
• Must be highly customer service quality oriented
• Must be able to read/write and perform basic math skills
• Must have computer knowledge (Excel/Word/Email/WMS)
• Must be able to comprehend and follow documented procedures
• Must be able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
• Must be able to work independently with assigned tasks
• Fast-paced packing and warehouse environment
• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Basic warehouse inventory transaction skills
• Lift certified or ability to obtain certification
• Basic problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong work ethic with high attention to details
• Ability to read write and speak basic English and Spanish; bilingual proficiency highly preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS software and RF scanner
• Flexible to perform different requested/assigned tasks
• Comply with work instructions within standard procedures
• Attend weekly pre-defined work schedule
• Participate/Comply with EHS regulations and trainings
• Clean/Housekeep work area as needed each day
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset (KPI/Metric Focused)
