Description of Job:

At will File Clerk position.

This is a part-time position representing the Commonwealth of Virginia and will primarily be sorting through records to update an office court case system. Key duties include managing office database retrieving files and assisting with purging outdated records to ensure efficient and compliant.

TYPICAL DUTIES

Ø Sorting through loose papers to match with case files;

Ø Organizing and tracking files; and

Ø Updating a case-management database.

Special Requirements:

Ø Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ø Organizational Skills:Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.

Ø Technical Skills:Proficiency in computer software such as MS Office databases and scanning technology.

Ø Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff.

Ø Physical Stamina:Ability to lift bend and move boxes of files if necessary.

The Candidate will need to be a United States citizen with three years or more of work-related experience. The Candidate will also need to have a background check done to confirm candidate is a citizen in good standing.
