QA Engineers collaborate with cross-disciplined project team members including software developers product managers and peer software test engineers to create review and execute quality testing plans for one or more assigned projects. Role and Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated).
- QA efforts across multiple projects ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Cypress or similar.
- Perform functional regression integration performance and security testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify document and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Continuously improve QA processes tools and methodologies.
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance including test automation.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Strong experience in Manual testing and automation testing
- Basic experience in test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium TestNG JUnit Cypress).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
