Year 2 Teacher role & responsibilities
The Year 2 Teacher will plan rich well-sequenced lessons that develop confident readers and mathematicians. The Year 2 Teacher will lead daily phonics guided reading and number sessions use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions. The Year 2 Teacher will work with parents lead termly reporting and support transition work all activities that the Year 2 Teacher will begin in earnest from January 2026.
