Overview
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Radiology Technologist performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of department leadership and in collaboration with radiologists. This position involves delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort safety and exceptional care. The role also includes mentoring less experienced technologists and participating in quality improvement and control activities.

Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and adherence to established protocols
Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively
Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams while providing clear communication and reassurance
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure precise image interpretation and optimal outcomes
Participate in department call schedules to meet coverage requirements
Travel to off-site locations as needed to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures
Support quality assurance and compliance initiatives within the imaging department

Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
Active California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred
At least 1 year of experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist
