This position is located in Big Sky Montana Position Summary: The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist delivers high quality MRI CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently Performs MRI CT and X-Ray procedures producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Minimum Qualifications: Required Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent and documented competencies in Radiology CT and MRI Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT & MRI American Heart Association BLS Two (2) years of previous radiology experience Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience Preferred Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements Bozeman Health policy and other registry requirements. Performs quality MRI CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations to include NICU CCU & ED as requested by medical staff. Operates independently with limited to no supervision while maintaining high attention to detail customer needs and high reliability. Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as may be requested and appropriate. Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution billing and archival of exams and procedures. Completes documentation in designated area of all information required for proper interpretation reporting archiving and retrieval of exams. Retrieves written orders and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures. Participates in the implementation monitoring and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan. Expectation to support and train peers. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek including weekends and after-hours shifts.
