Job Summary
Role Overview:
As an SDET you will design develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure high-quality software delivery. Youll work closely with developers QA and DevOps teams to build scalable reliable and testable systems.
Required Skills:
Programming/Scripting - strong proficiency in Python skillsets: common for TN3270 automation Java Experience with Test automation frameworks Mainframe automation (a plus but not mandatory) Database & Data validation (DB2 VSAM flat files - a plus but not mandatory) CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs UI and backend systems.
Write clean reusable test code using modern programming languages and test tools.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).
Collaborate with development teams to design testable architecture and ensure quality early in the SDLC.
Identify report and drive resolution of bugs and performance issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of test coverage reliability and speed.
