Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Requires B.E./ degree with 8 years relevant IT/ITeS experience (minimum 6 years managing large data centers)
- Must hold CCNP-DC/JNCIP-DC (or equivalent); JNCIP-DC preferred for existing DC DR projects
- Responsible for managing data center (DC) and disaster recovery (DR) activities including installations hosting upgrades migrations incident and change management performance tuning and patching
- Manages entire project lifecycle: initiation delivery stakeholder management post-implementation review close out/handover
- Coordinates closely with team members overseeing all contractor work for data centers and DR
- Implements international best practices for data center operations especially in security and DR implementation
- Ensures timely delivery of all project deliverables as per contractual requirements
- Provides technical solutions and strategic recommendations to enhance service quality
- Manages shift schedules and coverage for data center operations
- Communicates technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Documents support procedures to ensure proper maintenance and support of deployed systems
