Our client is a growth stage technology and data-driven commercial insurance wholesaler backed by a leading private equity firm. They are combining the worlds of insurance and technology to create an insurtech powerhouse.
Were helping them hire a Business Development Representative for their Northern California territory. Youll be responsible for contacting new and existing brokers to explain features and benefits of the companys programs- no cold calls as these are all current clients. Youll conduct daily video conference calls facilitate product webinars and website demonstrations and participate in industry trade shows.
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Location: Anywhere in Washington Oregon Arizona Georgia Colorado Miami Kansas City and Inland Empire - work remotely but MUST be physically located in the area.
What Youll Do
- Contact new and existing brokers to explain features and benefits of our programs.
- Compile organize and relay crucial information to close quotes.
- Maintain producer marketing database.
- Facilitate product webinars and website demonstrations.
- Execute weekly telephonic campaigns to maintain a pipeline of qualified agency appointments.
- Assist with corporate communications marketing and advertising.
- Participate in various industry trade shows.
- Recommend ideas for and following up on corporate and individual promotions.
- Develop referrals from brokers carrier partners and other vendors.
- Complete special projects as assigned by management and perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- 2-3 years previous sales experience in commercial or personal insurance lines.
- Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma minimum.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and aptitude to navigate software easily.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to forge long-term relationships with brokers agencies and carrier partners.
- Eager to learn and motivated in career progression.
