Job Summary

Correctly set and operate printing equipment in accordance to instruction or prescribed procedure.

Correctly set 2 Colour ensuring that the print is correct and in the correct place.

Monitor quality and adjust as necessary.

Identify artwork errors and report these to the team leader / supervisor immediately.

Complete job cards and/or timesheets accurately.

Ensure the achievement of targets as per required quantity and quality standards in a highly pressurised environment.

Perform basic maintenance on machine and/or timeously report or request maintenance / repair of broken or damaged equipment.

Assist in other positions and departments in accordance with operational requirements.

Adhere to HSE and PPE policies and procedures.

Maintain good housekeeping standards at workstation and with equipment. Correctly set and operate printing equipment in accordance to instruction or prescribed procedure.

Requirements

Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent will be preferred.

Minimum of 2 years working experience or experience in a similar position.

Ability to effectively set and operate pad printing equipment or have the capacity to be trained.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Must be prepared to work overtime / weekends / shifts in accordance with operational requirements.

Declared medically fit and have a clear criminal record

Required Skills:

Correctly set and operate printing equipment in accordance to instruction or prescribed procedure. Correctly set 2 Colour ensuring that the print is correct and in the correct place. Monitor quality and adjust as necessary - ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification (advantageous). - Coding in JavaScript or NodeJS (advantageous) - Training or exposure in Pitstop Pro Enfocus Switch or CorelDRAW beneficial but not required (on-the-job learning provided). - Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign) advantageous Exposure to PDF Toolbox
