Position Title: Quality Assurance Lead

As a Quality Assurance Lead you will be responsible to develop direct and provide leadership for the implementation and continuous improvement of the plants analytical quality systems process and supporting records. Use technical expertise knowledge of the corn wet milling business and an understanding of company goals to work with Operations Quality Control and Customer to assure product quality. Manage the Food Safety (HACCP) program and serve as the primary site PCQI. Coordinate the required quality programs including document control quality supplier program pest control and food defense coordinator. Serve as the sites primary FDQI and PCQI. Assist the Quality Control with technical duties to achieve departmental goals.
This role report to Plant Quality Assurance Manager Rakh Canal Plant.
What you will do:
- Lab Operations & Proficiency Testing Oversee laboratory activities ensuring timely and accurate testing SAP data integrity and adherence to GMP/GLP. Administer proficiency testing programs (CRA check samples) monitor lab performance to ensure reliable analytical outcomes.
- Drive Food Safety & Continuous Improvements Lead root cause investigations (RCA) for food safety and product quality issues driving corrective and preventive actions. Develop and implement new QA procedures while periodically reviewing and improving existing systems.
- Training & Fostering Quality Culture Provide technical training and mentoring for Analysts Chemists and QA staff on analytical equipment methodologies and QA programs. Promote a strong food safety and quality culture ensuring alignment across plant personnel and cross-functional teams.
- Lead Customer Specifications Trials Communicate trends findings and quality insights to stakeholders. Aligning plant operations with customer and business needs.
- Data & System Management Ensure SAP and related systems are updated accurate and aligned with business processes in term of data and specification accuracy. Maintain site-level records for non-routine testing external lab results and reports.
What you will bring:
- MSc. Chemistry BS. (Hons) Chemistry/Food Technology
- Languages and level (Urdu English- Advanced communication & analytical understanding)
- 5-8 years of experience in Food Pharma Chemical Laboratory in Quality Assurance
