Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger functions
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Prepare and review journal entries reconciliations and supporting schedules
Lead and mentor accounting staff fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve workflow and internal controls
Partner with senior leadership to support budgeting forecasting and financial planning initiatives
Coordinate with external auditors tax preparers and other financial partners
Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable local state and federal regulations
Assist with process improvement projects and system implementations as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
5 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory or management experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Proficient in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
