Job Summary
Promotes and strengthens the partnership between American Indian families and the Moorhead Area Public Schools through outreach activities improved communication and education. Provides coordination of programming and promotes cultural diversity through building bridges with community staff parents and students.
- Coordination of district resources with American Indian Students and Families
- Communicates information regarding American Indian Programming
- Provides support to families to connect them with appropriate educational services.
- Performs data and record keeping functions as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent and/or any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities as appropriate are required.
- Valid Minnesota drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience working with American Indian Learners in a school or community environment.
- Experience coordinating or supervising the work of staff
