Intermodal Despatcher

At Halls we are looking for a Transport Dispatcher to join our Napier based team who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a good geographical knowledge of the North Island.

What would you be doing

• Efficiently planning the pickup and delivery of containers from depot to destination
• Working with our drivers to ensure all source and transit documentation is completed correctly
• Planning and dispatching the fleet to maximise vehicle utilisation
• Maintain all procedures and timetables ensuring that all containers are transported in accordance with company policy
• Ensuring good communication across our network and to our customers
• Working to achieve our KPI Monthly

Qualifications :

What youll need to be brilliant:  

• A minimum of 1 years experience in transport dispatch
• Knowledge of transport management systems. Experience with Truck Mate will be a huge advantage
• A strong knowledge of how FMCG works in New Zealand
• Strong planning organising record-maintaining and time management skills
• Sound geographical knowledge of LNI and NZ.
