Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Candidate to have at least 5 years previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries familiar with inspection processes and basic quality standards
- Ability to measure mark and verify dimensions of finished parts using precision tools (micrometers calipers gauges etc.)
- Select appropriate tools fixtures and materials for each job
- Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
- Adjust machine settings tool offsets and feeds/speeds to optimize production and accuracy.
- Keep equipment clean and in proper work order clean work environment.
- Record production data job progress and inspection results.
- Collaborate with engineers programmers and inspectors to resolve machining or design issues.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Commitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness
- Strong teammate skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Able to lift 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Must be adaptable to a constantly changing environment and perform well under deadlines.
Experience and Education:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new skills effectively.
