This role leads a team of software engineers focused on building secure scalable and high-performance enterprise applications. The manager is responsible for technical leadership people management and delivery of software products aligned with RSAs strategic goals.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a cross functional team of engineers.
- Drive design development testing integration and support of software products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product QA marketing and customer teams.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Manage hiring performance reviews and career development.
- Interface with senior management to report milestones and influence product direction.
- Promote secure development practices and ensure compliance with SDLC standards.
Skills:
- 8 years of experience in enterprise-scale software development.
- 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE Spring Boot Microservices REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) containerization and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and IAM use cases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Maven Jenkins Bamboo) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit).
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments
Education & Experience:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the security domain especially IAM.
- Knowledge of virtualization cloud computing and thin clients.
