Job Summary
Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $2469 Weekly Gross
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join the imaging team at a reputable healthcare facility in Gastonia NC. The ideal candidate will have prior CT experience strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proficiency in performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining excellent patient care and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT scans and related procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and in maintaining patient care and safety.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Siemens Force and GE HD 750 scanners.
Demonstrate competency in special imaging techniques and IV contrast administration.
May perform duties of a diagnostic radiologic technologist as required.
Utilize AIDET communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all patients.
Collaborate with physicians radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate patient and procedural records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Prior CT experience required.
Competency in cross-sectional anatomy and IV techniques preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established imaging protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Certifications (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT certification R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)
