Job Description Summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join the Radiology/Cardiology department for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CT experience proficiency in EPIC charting and the ability to perform a wide range of CT procedures across acute outpatient ED and ICU settings. Community hospital experience is preferred. This role includes rotating weekends potential floating within like units and requires strong competency in contrast administration venipuncture and emergency imaging (e.g. code stroke).

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures including abdomen/pelvis chest head/neck vascular CTA arthrography brain perfusion and musculoskeletal trauma protocols.
Operate CT equipment (Siemens* Toshiba*) and utilize PACS for image management.
Complete image post-processing including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR).
Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
Initiate and maintain peripheral IV lines and perform venipuncture.
Support emergency and critical care diagnostics including code stroke imaging.
Ensure patient safety proper documentation and adherence to facility and ARRT standards.
Float to like units as needed.
Weekend work required (rotating).
Follow all charting requirements within Epic.

Qualifications Education

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)

Experience

Minimum 1 year CT experience
Community hospital experience preferred
Experience in emergency ICU and acute settings strongly preferred

License & Certifications

ARRT (R) Required
BLS Required
State Radiology License Required (no pending license accepted)
Venipuncture Certification Required
Fluoroscopy Permit Preferred
