Job Description SummaryWe are seeking for an experienced CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience to join their CT Scan department for a 13-week contract. This role requires strong competency in CT imaging for acute care outpatient and emergency settings. Community hospital experience is required. Candidates must be open to all shift times as self-scheduling is determined by seniority. No floating or on-call required.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and advanced CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis chest head/neck vascular CTA cardiac CT (e.g. calcium scoring coronary angiography*) and musculoskeletal trauma.
Assist with special procedures including aspirations* biopsies* drainage* brain perfusion* and coronary CTA*.
Operate CT scanners (GE Toshiba) and use PACS* and Fuji Synapse* for image management.
Follow isolation precautions radiation safety standards and all facility protocols.
Prepare and/or administer contrast media appropriately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support acute outpatient and ED imaging needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in self-scheduling according to department seniority rules.
Years of Experience: 2 years required (job notes list 1 year minimum; facility requirement overrides use 2 years as main requirement).
Shift Flexibility: Must be open to ALL four CT start times (0).
Ratios: 1:1
First-Timers: Accepted
On-Call: None
Weekend Requirement: Pending
Floating: No floating between units
Block Scheduling: As needed per unit; not guaranteed
Locals: Accepted at same rate
Pending License: Not accepted
RTO: Must be included at time of submission
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
2 years CT Tech experience (Required)
Community hospital experience (Required)
Experience in adult acute care outpatient and ED settings (Required)

CA CRT (California Radiologic Technologist License)
CT certification (state/facility requirement)
