Job Description Summary

Interact with Production Supervisor Team Leaders Engineering and Manufacturing employees and help provide needed materials and proper set ups of all equipment and assist employees to safely operate equipment to make product that meets the Customers expectations at levels of quality and productivity that meet or exceed the established plan.

Job Description

  • Environment/Safety Requirements.
  • Adhere to and follow all Safety policies JSAs and work instructions. Report unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Ability to understand and perform all quality inspections.
  • Frequently review the Quality of products following each process and provide feedback to Manufacturing Team to keep everyone in tune with the process.
  • Set Up machines including fixturing tooling loading programs trouble shooting etc.
  • Set Up and teach robots in modules using HMI operator interface and robot pendent controller touch up robots at all set ups and when needed for production quality assure Picks and Places are always set properly assure the proper PMs on the robots are being done as needed.
  • Responsible for Lube Spray Systems (building manifolds and maintain the lube systems properly).
  • Help with all CI within the module.
  • Preventive Maintenance on equipment daily weekly monthly quarterly yearly.
  • May assume Team Leader responsibility when absent.
  • Ensure that the equipment is operating properly and safely throughout the shift.
  • Assist with training and developing employees for further company growth.
  • Verify that we meet machine efficiencies quality standards and reduce scrap levels in assigned area.
  • Develop suggest changes in the process to improve quality or maximize labor efficiency to meet goals of the company.
  • Maintain and report status of supplies at the operation line and inventory levels.
  • Perform in a production capacity when needed call offs breaks.
  • Assist in material handling tasks to maintain neat and orderly work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • In addition to the above responsibilities this position is responsible for other tasks as assigned by Team Leader and/or Shift Supervisor including but not limited to
  • Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Rework Instructions.

Required Skills and Education

High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree in Applied Science in Business Engineering or Manufacturing preferred) or equivalent work experience.
