Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup changeovers and tooling adjustments for production runs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues during setup and production.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify setup parameters meet quality specifications.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Document setup procedures machine performance and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup times and machine efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup changeover and adjustment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with PLC diagnostics and basic programming.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software for reviewing or modifying machine programs.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Prior experience with industrial robotics setup or troubleshooting.
