Summary: LBM Advantage is seeking a Department Manager to lead our Forest Products team in our Conroe TX this role youll drive sales growth manage budgets and P&Ls lead a team of Traders and also manage a portfolio of accounts directly. Youll build strong relationships with members and vendors identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to expand market presence.
Essential functions:
- Lead mentor and motivate team to achieve sales goals
- Develop and execute sales and business strategies
- Manage budgets P&L and departmental performance
- Maintain relationships with members and vendors
- Handle assigned accounts directly as needed.
- Provide the highest level of support and service to the LBM Advantage members
- Work closely with other Forest Products Managers to ensure alignment collaboration and consistent execution of the divisions overall mission and goals.
- Travel as needed for member/vendor visits trade shows and regional meetings
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position oversees a team of seven employees including both in-office and remote staff

- High school diploma
- Minimum 5 years of sales and buying experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Experience in the lumber and building materials industry
