Position: Long-Term Substitute Grade 7 History TeacherLocation: McCarthy Middle School Assignment Dates: December 15 2025- End of School Year (Dates are subject to change)General Description: Teach students in academic social and manipulative skills working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student services in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee. Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services. Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate. Expected to fulfill all required duties of a teacher. Must hold a license in History/ Social Science grades 5-8 or 5-12 in Massachusetts with SEI endorsement. Individual should have familiarity with Google Apps for Education.
