40Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking to add an Ambulance Operations Supervisor to assist in overseeing the daily operations and needs of our Tomah and Sparta ambulance teams. What Youll Do:
Gundersen Health System Ambulance (GHSA) provides a mixture of emergency response services including rural 911 inter-facility transport services (Critical Care Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support Emergency and Non-Emergency) ALS intercepts and special event coverage to rural markets in Wisconsin Iowa and Minnesota. As the Ambulance Supervisor in collaboration with the Clinical Manager you will provide leadership and direction for constant improvement and development of GHSA operations and team members. You will assist the Clinical Manager in day-to-day operations including human resource functions unit budget adherence logistics customer relations and workflow safety oversight and quality patient care. You will also have oversight and responsibility for interfacing with ambulance service vendors suppliers political entities and regulatory authorities.
Whats Available:
Fulltime 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Mon-Fri days with evening and weekend hours as needed for ongoing trainings and meetings
Will be responsible for oversight of our Tomah & Sparta teams
Salary range of $59800 to $91000 based upon experience
What Youll Need:
A minimum of an Associate degree in EMS or a related field
3-4 years of experience as an EMS field practitioner required
National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P)
Must have a Wisconsin paramedic license to begin employment with paramedic licenses in Iowa Wisconsin and Minnesota all required within 90 days of the hire date
Valid Wisconsin Minnesota or Iowa drivers license
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Certified Emergency Vehicle Operation (CEVO) or equivalent and ICS 100 200 and 700 certificates required within 60 days of hire
*Registered nurses that maintain NREMT and EMT licenses and are approved as an RN Exemption through the states of Iowa and Wisconsin would replace the requirements for the NREMT-P and Paramedic licenses for this position
