QUALIFICATIONS: | Bachelors Degree in Business or related field or 8 years of operational management experience in a plant environment. Lean Six Sigma certificationpreferred Training in Safety SQF GMP and HACCP Previous experience and strong understanding of budgeting/expense management witha basicunderstanding of financial and accounting practices Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office products to analyze data and trends Previous experience in best practice implementing and using continuous improvement and lean tools to drive improvement Previous experience and broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies Demonstrated strong leadership team building and advanced coaching skills. Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations maintenance and engineering Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability tolead decision-making processes in a team environment Ability to speak read and write English Good verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred |
