Trade Operator

Location: Sarina or Rockhampton

Remuneration/Benefit: Starting $130k Super generous daily tax-free allowances when traveling

Our Trade Operator roles are dynamic and hands-on offering variety every day.

We are recruiting for two types of Trade Operator both you will apply your trade skills to maintain service repair and perform approved modifications with one role focused on production and the other on onsite maintenance.

Production-Focused Trade Operator:

• Work as a key member of your team under the direction of a supervisor.
• Support smooth production operations and contribute to team performance.

Onsite Maintenance Trade Operator:

• Carry out machine maintenance and operating duties across infrastructure works.
• Ensure all work meets required standards to achieve optimum reliability and operational performance.
• Deliver outcomes that meet customer objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

About the role:

• Travel across Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) for maintenance/closures
• You must have the ability to work away from home on a varying roster consisting of rosters 8 on 6 off patterns could vary depending on production requirement.
• Your roster is based on a 208-shift count
• Ideally Live in Mackay / Sarina /Rockhampton or surrounding suburbs

About you:

• Certificate III EngineeringMechanical
• Current drivers licence (Essential)
• High level of skill in maintenance troubleshooting and repair of plant and equipment
• Sound communication skills both written and verbal
• Exceptional teamwork skills and helpful attitude

Sorry FIFO is not offered however some of staff are happy DIDO and must you meet fatigue guidelines.
