The Department of Cancer Biology is seeking a motivated full-time Program Administrator. The successful candidate will work directly with the Interim Chair Dr. Bodour Salhia.
The Program Administrator supports the academic research clinical and administrative activities of the Cancer Biology Department by coordinating day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient program delivery. Key responsibilities include processing and monitoring budgets and financial transactions maintaining records and compliance documentation scheduling courses and meetings and providing operational support for faculty and research initiatives. The specialist assists in implementing departmental policies coordinating outreach efforts and supporting program services. This role serves as a resource to faculty staff students and collaborators helping to resolve operational issues and streamline workflows. The position requires strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills to effectively support the departments mission in cancer r search education and clinical collaboration.
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $82992.08 - 95000. When extending an offer of employment the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity federal state and local laws contractual stipulations grant funding as well as external market and organizational considerations.
