Responsibilities
The Building Monitor is responsible for maintaining the entry access and occupancy of the Noel Fine Arts Center (NFAC). The Building Monitor maintains the security of the entryways monitors various open spaces classrooms/labs and contacts campus police when appropriate.
Specific Duties
Responsible for the closing duties in the Noel Fine Arts Center and monitoring building access points academic spaces and occupants.
Report all building infractions to campus police and monitor building usage.

Qualifications and Wage Classification
Applicants must be at least a part-time student (six undergraduate or five graduate credits) have at least 2 semesters remaining at UWSP being in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPA of 2.0 or higher) and passing a criminal background check (only criminal activity pertaining directly to the position description will be evaluated.) The Building Monitor position is compensated according to the College of Fine Arts and Communications Student Employment Program Wage Classification Scale Division II.
Applicants for this position must demonstrate great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with no direct supervision. The applicant should preferably have a good knowledge of the campus University functions College of Fine Arts and Communication operations and policies. The Building Monitor should expect to work an average of 6-14 hours per week. These hours should not exceed 20 hours per week. Most scheduled hours will be nights (M-F 7pm-9pm) and weekends (Saturday-Sunday 5pm-10pm).
Base Wage
$12.00 per hour
