DescriptionThis is a temporary position.
Assist RMAS Revenue Managers with non-stakeholder-facing tasks including but not limited to preparing for sales strategy meetings; managing room authorizations rates and restrictions including communicating rate restrictions and strategies to properties; supporting account diagnostics and monitoring transient and group inventory to ensure straight-line availability; implementing hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems; escalating technical questions related to the reservations and property management systems to the appropriate support desk in a timely manner; and monitoring compliance with and participation in company promotions and eCommerce channels.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats; move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
CRITICAL TASKS
Revenue Administrative Duties
- Assist Revenue Managers with the preparation for sales strategy meetings.
- Assist in the implementation of the hotel sales strategy in the reservation and inventory systems.
- Escalate technical questions related to the reservations and property management systems to the correct support desk in a timely manner.
Inventory Control
- Assist in managing room authorizations rates and restrictions including communicating with rate restrictions and strategies to properties.
- Assist with account diagnostics and monitoring transient and group inventory to ensure straight-line availability.
- Monitor the compliance with and participation in Company promotions and eCommerce channels.
Computer Skills
- Use computer systems and software packages to input access modify store or output information.
- Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard mouse or trackball.
Stakeholder Relations
- Address stakeholders service needs in a professional positive way and on time.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
Communication
- Speak to stakeholders and co-workers using clear appropriate and professional language and timely manner.

- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact respect diplomacy and confidentiality.
