Job Summary
Were hiring a skilled Accounting Specialist to support a U.S.-based investment fund offering
exclusive luxury property ownership experiences to investors.
This role focuses on accounts payable accounts receivable bookkeeping and investor
invoicing ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency across multiple entities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented highly organized and comfortable managing recurring
financial cycles in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Manage vendor invoices payment scheduling and reconciliation.
- Oversee vendor onboarding documentation and compliance (including OFAC checks).
- Maintain updated records of vendor accounts and support annual reporting.
Accounts Receivable Investor Invoicing
- Prepare and issue investor invoices (trip-based and recurring).
- Track incoming payments apply receipts and reconcile balances.
- Monitor reimbursable expenses and ensure accurate categorization.
Bookkeeping & General Ledger
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Financial Reporting & Audit Support
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for internal use.
- Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
- Other special projects as requested.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (LATAM) or 5 years (SA/ PH).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of AP/AR reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work full U.S. business hours (Eastern Time).
Preferred:
- Experience with or similar AP automation tools.
- Prior experience in fund accounting hospitality or investment operations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).

- Timely and accurate processing of AP/AR transactions.
- Quality and accuracy of monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Timeliness and completeness of financial reporting.
- Compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
